Our Internal Audit department is currently seeking an IT Internal Auditor.
Starting salary: $65,000 - $95,000; depending on knowledge and skills
Be ready to:
- Research and understand our company’s IT-related processes, data and systems.
- Develop and prepare IT audit plans.
- Conduct IT audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley general IT controls testing.
- Make innovative recommendations for improving efficiency, effectiveness and internal control.
- Prepare and present reports to management.
- Effectively use data mining and interrogation tools and techniques.
- Actively participate in overall Internal Audit risk assessment and planning.
- Build productive working relationships with peers, reviewers and management.
- Coordinate testing with our external auditors.
- Work with other team members to develop best practices and a base of knowledge for future use.
- Participate in professional organizations and take advantage of opportunities to enhance personal and professional growth.
- Establish mentoring relationships within Internal Audit and throughout the company.
- Stay current with emerging issues affecting the IT auditing profession and present results to management.
To be considered, be equipped with the following:
- 1-3 years of IT auditing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, information technology, data analytics or another related field.
- Knowledge of data analytics utilizing ACL, Tableau, Excel, SAS, and/or TeamMate Analytics.
- Working familiarity with various application systems (such as Oracle and SAP), operating systems (such as Windows, UNIX and z/OS), network management technologies (such as Active Directory and LDAP), and database management systems (such as MS SQL, DB2, and Oracle).
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks such as COBIT and COSO.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity.
- Ability to think critically, objectively, and analytically with an appropriate level of skepticism.
Preferred candidates may also have:
- Experience with a recognized professional services firm.
- Advanced degree in a technology or business-related field
- Extraordinarily relevant prior work experience
- CISA, or related designation.
