Pay Range: $ 100,000 - $111,455

A Senior Business Process Analyst job is available with the City of Fort Worth (Financial Management Services / Finance Financial System Adm).
The City of Fort Worth Financial Management Services Department has a Senior Business Process Analyst position available. This position performs as a senior technical liaison for more complex business applications and as a project analyst for assigned area. Administers and maintains more complex projects, systems and/or technical business processes. Provides user support and helps to identify customer needs and improve business processes. Serves as point of contact for issues related to departmental systems, training, procedures and/or testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
- Five or more years of business experience and business analysis experience.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of the PeopleSoft Purchasing module.
- Capable of providing front-line diagnosis and troubleshooting for technical problems; report writing including development/maintenance/modification and the ability to design and maintain ad hoc queries.
- Knowledge/Certification in SQL.
- LEAN, Six Sigma or other lean certifications.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PP, Access)
- PeopleSoft Oracle training/certifications
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and written / oral communication skills
The Sr. Business Process Analyst job responsibilities include:
- Provide service excellence to business partners through establishing effective relationships, partnerships, strategies, processes, and systems
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to procurement personnel regarding procurement processes, systems and procedures
- Responsible for working closely with the procurement team to identify, select, and enable preferred processes and systems
- Develop & support procurement process discipline and compliance
- Plans, tracks and oversees activities on more complex departmental projects related to systems and business requirements
- Participate in PeopleSoft System Upgrades
- Performs complex business analysis; collects and analyzes the business requirements to ensure successful implementation and efficient utilization of systems.
- Generates and maintains mostly complex reports to leverage system capabilities and/or MS Office tools and uses SQL or other database products to create queries and/or define reports
- Drive and support continuous procurement process improvements of procurement service
- Develop and implement procurement training programs (including change management plans) for internal and external stakeholders
- Support Supplier Management activities (including supplier onboarding, risk management and performance management)
- Consult with the IT department when necessary to design and document basic workflows to ensure proper application/user interface
- Manages department use of application modules and provides user administration such as add/change/delete permissions (role) assignment
- Performs quality assurance and controls data integrity
- Serves as senior technical and systems liaison to other departments and outside vendors
- Performs other related duties as required.
