The Director, Business Development role is a new position that will provide strategic leadership, along with enhanced tools and capability building within the FSOP Business Development Center of Excellence. This team will secure new business, drive new category growth and play a key role in successfully managing our continued pipeline of renewals through building content, effective stewardship materials and other commercial tools. As a newly formed Business Development COE, we’re looking for individuals who are solution oriented and comfortable with “white space.” The ideal candidate will find opportunities to make progress and create value, even when the path forward is not clear.

What You'll Do For Us
- Leverage internal tools and resources to support customer acquisition strategy (channel, asset, brand)
- Provides thought-leadership to account teams when called upon to consult on business renewals.
- In conjunction with account teams, use Collaborating for Value and Collaborative Business Planning as a roadmap to understand customer’s needs and gaps to build a customized strategy for customer acquisitions and key renewals
- Engages SMEs for biggest impact when the situation dictates
- Fully utilize AOC and KOLab facilities in ATL, with creative sourcing of facilities in customer’s cities
- Role will be responsible for developing sales materials and trainings to improve customer team capabilities around business development (i.e. Why Coke Evolution, Value Bundle, Code 5/10 Playbook, Bev. Consultant Playbook, etc.)
- Develops best-in-class presentations and leadership briefing documents
- Share best practices at large throughout the organization (avoid recreating the wheel)
- Planning and stewardship of negotiation and pitch experiences
- Support key industry events
- Facilitate documentation of renewals and acquisitions to build historical book of record (FSOP Negotiation Planner)
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
