A key 2022 priority is to expand the number of schools and school districts who are offering our courses for credit - both in the U.S. and abroad. If you like developing relationships, community building, and thinking strategically about how to bring STEM education to diverse groups, this is the role for you.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with K-12 schools and school districts throughout the United States and globally to participate in TCS programs;
- Develop and execute plan to ensure programs reach and serve underserved populations;
- Build and maintain relationships with 2- and 4-year universities to recruit teaching assistants, volunteers, instructors, and advisors;
- Lead effort to get TCS courses approved for K-12 transcript credit at school district or state level, which may include aligning course curricula with state standards, working with individual states’ Department of Education or school districts, and rallying all of the necessary stakeholders to understand the value of TCS programs;
- Identify opportunities to raise awareness of TCS programming, such as conferences, back to school nights, and PTA groups;
- Plan in-person and virtual events to foster student, parent, and community engagement;
- Manage communication, social media, and digital channels to increase awareness and engagement of TCS programs and opportunities;
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Program Director and Program Manager.

We work with leading industry partners, such as IBM and Google, and academic institutions, including academics from Caltech, MIT, and Harvard, to develop new models of CS education to truly transform students’ lives. At the core of our mission is the belief that every student - irrespective of the industry they plan to pursue or are currently pursuing - should have foundational knowledge in emerging technologies. Furthermore, we believe we should be forward thinking in our training, insofar as we should be training students with the skills and knowledge necessary for the future of work. Our programs have reached over 40,000 students across 125 countries in 16 specialized subjects, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computational Genomics and more. In particular, we are committed to ensuring the future STEM workforce is diverse, equitable, and inclusive with 55% of our students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in STEM. Programs range from small sized programs, such as virtual 1:1 lessons to K-12 classroom workshops, to large-scale programming, like courses for 1,000 participants.
One of our flagship initiatives, Qubit by Qubit, is focused on training the future diverse quantum workforce.
