Job Title: Accountant
Summary: Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Responsible for verifying accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions.

Requirements:
4-year degree in accounting.
4 plus years of accounting experience preferably with full P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility. Ability to generate and analyze financial statements.
CPA license not required.
Experience with managing a team.
Oil and gas and real estate accounting preferred with a good working knowledge of income tax accounting.
More specifically, oil and gas JIB accounting (verify that joint interest owners are properly billed) and revenue accounting (track payments received and ensure they are accurate) knowledge.
Oil and gas land knowledge preferred (ability to understand leases, operating agreements, and other documents to ensure correct expenses are billed and correct revenue is collected).
