Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies including receiving, stocking, stacking, pulling, packing, and loading.
Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chains, or covers.
Inspect their trailers before and after the trip and record any defects they find.
Collect and verify delivery instructions.
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants.
Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Report defects, accidents or violations
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of time organization and urgency
Able to work independently and within a team
No recent moving or driving violations
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
6 months forklift operating experience
Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
