Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Drug test
• Criminal Background check – over one year since prior conviction
• TB skin test: Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year.
• Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent experience in a related field.

Position Summary: Drivers are responsible for transporting clients or handling deliveries in a timely manner, and periodically they may have to work nights and weekends to accomplish their duties.

Skill Sets: Should be able to follow oral or written instructions. Demonstrate good oral and written communications. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Physical and Environmental Demands: Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing are required when communicating with co-workers, families, and other service providers. Physical demands are moderate with prolonged sitting, occasional walking, standing, bending and lifting packages. Possible exposure to communicable diseases during contact with individuals released from various locations i.e. jails, hospitals, unsanitary conditions, rehabilitation centers, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
2. Arrive at destinations on schedule
3. Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
4. Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
5. Use navigation applications to determine the best route
6. Interact with clients professionally at all times
7. Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
8. Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
9. Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
