Responsibilities

• As a Food & Beverage Attendant within our sportsbook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience within our sportsbook facility, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the overall customer experience by providing exceptional food and beverage services.
• Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that guests receive prompt and courteous service while enjoying sports events and various entertainment offerings.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Takes orders and serve food and drinks for guests according to established, ensuring consistency and quality with every order.
• Transport supplies to servers set-up area.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food and beverage service areas, including but not limited to the bar, kitchen, and dining areas, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate cash registers or POS systems to process transactions accurately, handle cash, credit card payments, and provide guests with receipts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders during peak business hours.
• Uphold company policies and procedures regarding alcohol service, including verifying the legal drinking age of patrons and refusing service to intoxicated individuals when necessary.
• Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to uniform and grooming standards set forth by the company.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down events, including arranging tables and chairs, decorating, and cleaning up after events as needed.
• Continuously strive to enhance product knowledge and stay informed about current sports events, promotions, and menu offerings to provide informed recommendations to guests.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a sports bar, casino, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of sports and sports betting terminology
• Must meet age requirements for serving alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Able to handle difficult situations effectively.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Hospitality oriented
• Organized disposition.
• Must possess good communication skills in Spanish and English.
