As well as Casino del Mar, and world-renowned restaurants like STK San Juan and Serafina.  

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of Group Sales, including the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for group sales segment, including securing new accounts and maintaining existing accounts, to maximize the profitability of the hotel and maintain customer satisfaction. 
• Effectively manage accounts to achieve business goals. 
• Work closely with DOSM to effectively communicate new trends and develop strategies to increase revenue. 

• Create and implement strategic prospecting plan and action plan for review and approval by DOSM. 
• Conduct onsite inspections for potential clients and partners.  
• Sells hotel guest rooms, catering services, and banquet facilities through direct client contact to maximize total rooms revenues and profits. 
• Establishes client base of organizations, associations, and corporate businesses through direct outside sales (sales blitz) and inside sales effort.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key clients to produce corporate, group and convention business. 

• Conducts tours of the hotel and banquet facilities and entertains qualified potential clients. 
• Attends and represents the organization at trade shows and conventions, inclusive of initiatives that will require travel.  
• Responds quickly to guest requests and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. 
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications required.  
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.  

Qualifications

• Hospitality oriented  
• Has a thorough understanding of the planning, creative and production processes. 
• Minimum two years of Group Sales experience. 
• Must be very organized. 

• Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, good customer service skills and multi-tasking skills. 
• Strong business planning, account planning and budget management skills. 
• Should work well under pressure, even with minimal supervision. 
• Should also be able to work independently or as part of a large team. 
• Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English).
