RESIDENTIAL AIDES CAN EARN UP TO A
$1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS AT THE CONNECTION!!
Eligible candidates (starting July 1, 2022) can earn up to a $1,500 sign-on bonus by joining The Connection as a Residential Aide.
If you,
- Are assigned to work a regular part-time or full-time (non-per diem) Residential Aide
- Are an employee in good standing at each evaluation period
You will earn a $375 bonus at start, an additional $375 after six months, and an additional $750 after one year!
The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents. The eligible candidate for this position would work part time, 16 hours, 2nd shift, Friday and Saturday.
Working within Family & Child Services, the Residential Aide works with Women’s Recovery Support program staff to provide services to stabilize and reunite women and their families experiencing complex issues such as substance use, behavioral health, and homelessness.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2 years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance is required
- The Connection Inc. complies with Executive Order 13G. Any employee hired on or after September 27, 2021 must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or apply for a medical or religious exemption and be approved. If approved, you must submit to weekly testing as required in each program.
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
