The North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers,

An ideal candidate will have experience teaching art to middle school students. This person will be passionate about artmaking, developing students’ technique, and art history and excited about planning lessons and units, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, and collaborating with their colleagues.
An ideal candidate will possess a love of art and teaching middle school aged children.
Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
MA degree in education, fine arts, or a related field
A minimum of three years teaching as a head teacher in a middle school setting
A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains
A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
