Job Summary:
Are you skilled in masonry work and ready to take on a new challenge? Wall Brothers Construction is seeking a talented Block Mason to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled masonry tasks, including laying out and installing blocks, bricks, and stones. Responsibilities:
- Perform skilled masonry work, including laying out and installing blocks, bricks, and stones according to project specifications.
- Prepare surfaces for masonry work by cleaning, leveling, and applying mortar or other adhesives.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and alignment of materials.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and contractors to coordinate tasks and complete projects efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a mason worker with a strong understanding of laying out and installing blocks.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials used in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- All of the military bases require Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages.
