Sidewalk Safety requires a dynamic concrete finisher to ensure quality on each project, while
ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying and exceeding client's needs, through direction of daily operations on your projects, including responsibility for overall safety, direction, completion, and outcome of construction projects.

This is achieved by always going out of the way to help customers near work areas, creating a safe environment for not only the team members but pedestrians and cars affected by active and completed work sites.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Set and place forms to proper elevations and location, prepare the base, and install proper reinforcing.

Operate a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specifications.

Smooth concrete surface using hand tools or powered float machines.

Cut joints and grooves in concrete to control cracking, and apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.

Monitor environmental factors like wind, heat, and cold affecting concrete curing.

Install fixtures into freshly poured concrete and provide decorative finishes as needed.
Abilities required:
-
Good vision, stamina, hand-eye coordination, and ability to estimate size and dimensions.

Skill in finishing concrete, applying treatments, and restoring surfaces.

Ability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting, climbing, balancing, and other physical demands.

Must be comfortable working outdoors in dusty or dirty environments.

Willingness to work overtime as needed and meet all safety requirements.

Finish projects efficiently while maintaining high standards.

Travel may be required up to 40% of the time, including overnight stays.
