Cornett Roofing is expanding! Join our growing team as a Field Supervisor - Roofing Installations in the Franklin, IN area. Be a key player on our team dedicated to providing exceptional roofing services using a variety of high-quality materials and techniques. You will be meeting with our residential customers to review the scope of work and prepare the projects for success.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to:
- Conduct pre-installation inspections and complete checklists.
- Understand all the materials, labor, and equipment needed for each job.
- Perform job-site detail takeoffs for contracts sold by the sales team, ensure material lists are accurate based on job site measurements taken and prepared prior to commencing work.
- Provide updated progress reports on job milestones to the Production Manager.
- Deliver first-class customer service to homeowners to ensure a smooth installation or repair experience.
- Interface with homeowners on repairs and ensure the scope of work is completed to Cornett's standard.
- Review all projects and ensure they meet Cornett's quality standards.
- Make small service repairs and conduct leak inspections as needed.
- Walk the roof, check the attic, and inspect chimney flashing.
- Review site hazards, note them in the file, and take photos before the project for warranty protection.
- Explain to clients the additional issues found, the best way to make upgrades, and adding associated costs.
- Set up the job, team, and customer for success at the pre-installation phase.
- Schedule installs and set proper expectations for the installation process.
- Assist in roofing installation if needed to help finish a job or punch list.
- Understand all phases of prep, demo, tear-off, wood replacement, flashing, underlayment, installation, and water sealing.
- Metal fabrication and soldering of 24-gauge steel and 16-ounce copper is a highly preferable skill.
- Review sales orders and perform field verification of full replacement projects.
- Handle material ordering and field verifications with customers.
- Prepare jobs for installation and review change orders with clients.
- Work with field supervisors and Production Manager teams to ensure success.
The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- Proven experience in field supervision within the roofing industry.
- 10-15 years of roofing/construction experience required.
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and soldering of 24-gauge steel and 16-ounce copper is highly preferable.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High level of detail-oriented and quality-focused thinking.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to carry a ladder safely, walk a roof, and inspect attic spaces. Drone skills are a plus!
- Excellent verbal communication skills and sales acumen to explain technical details to clients.
- Enjoys talking to people but understands how to manage a busy schedule.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- With management and coordination skills.
- Harness, fall protection, pump jack, and scaffolding experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a driving background check and screening to operate company vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specific knowledge and experience working with slate, copper, tile, and metal roofing systems.
- Understanding of the concept of Metal Fabrication, Standing Seams, and Copper roofing experience is a plus. Computer skills and administrative abilities are also required.

Schedule:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday - 8AM - 5PM
- Overtime Potential
Work Location:
- Franklin, IN Relocate before starting work (Required)
- Visiting multiple homes in the surrounding areas daily
- Project scheduled to be two years of steady work re-roofing military housing on the base.
