JOB SUMMARY: As a Country Club of Mobile Team Member, you must be friendly, outgoing and possess good communication skills. Our members and guests expect the best. Supervises other housemen and housekeeping staff in the absence of the Housekeeping Director and acts as the Assistant Director of Housekeeping. 
Hours are 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday with the exception of Wednesday when the hours are 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Overtime as necessary.  There will be days when the hours are 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. at the latest in order to set up for special larger member functions such as wedding receptions, etc.
Also performs regular houseman duties:  Keep all Club facilities in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as dusting all furniture, and fixtures, cleaning/vacuum floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Clean rooms and bathrooms in whatever building your supervisor directs you to do. Lifting tables, chairs, dance floor, stages and all equipment required for a special function.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Stocks cleaning cart and hand caddy.
2. Empties wastebaskets.
3. Cleans inside and outside windows, wipes all window sills, walls and light switches.
4. Vacuums.
5. Dusts rooms and all furniture and fixtures.
6. Conducts deep-cleaning projects.
7. Checks lamps for burned out light bulbs. Replace with like kind wattage, color and shape.
8. Wipes mirrors and windows.
9. Cleans and polishes brass.
10. Cleans all stairwells and landings.
11. Cleans all restrooms: sanitizes toilets, washes tiles, tub, shower walls and fixtures.
12. Wipes shower curtains.
13. Cleans sink and fixtures.
14. Cleans walls, baseboards and floors.
15. Restocks towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses and other supplies and amenities in restrooms and suites.
16. Maintains equipment and must always look at ways to do your job more efficiently with the right tools and materials. Always suggest better ways of doing things to your supervisor.
17. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the facility manager.

Must adhere personally and always preserve and maintain the tangible and intangible assets of the Club.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without restrictions. Always ask for assistance before attempting to lift anything heavier than 35 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, frequent bending, crouching, kneeling and reaching.
• Must be available for emergency and scheduled work requirements on evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts and overtime if necessary.
• Ability to work with others.
• Punctual, reliable and adhere to the weekly schedule.

Must have valid driver or non-driver license and Social Security card.
