Regional Nurse Consultant (RNC)

We are seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse (RN) to be our new Regional Nurse Consultant (RNC). We provide consulting and support services to skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers that also provide long-term care. Responsibilities and Purpose

• Conducts audits of the facility’s systems and evaluates them for survey readiness, compliance with Medicare requirements and optimal quality of care for each resident.
• Conducts rounds of each facility to evaluate care and offers suggestions or direction to staff to ensure optimal quality of care for each resident.
• Maintains records and schedules of facility visits, including any recommendations, in an orderly manner that is readily accessible to other facility and corporate staff.
• Serves as support person for facility administrative staff and answers questions or solves problems as requested.

Desired Experience and Education

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in a Long Term Care environment.
• A comprehensive understanding of the Medicaid/Medicare programs and extensive knowledge of current federal and state regulations.
• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing Services (DON) preferred.
