Job description
Looking for exceptional people who are detailed, love to clean, reliable. Required: Physical stamina, the ability to work independently and promote a positive image of the property to guests: pleasant, honest, friendly ensuring the highest quality appearance and cleanliness throughout.
Previous hotel experience desired.
Specifics of making a Guest room "Guest Ready," are making the bed as trained, cleaning the floor, dusting, including blinds, glass surfaces, rotating the mattresses as needed, reporting signs of soil requiring added cleaning, or damages requiring repair. Returning furniture to it's proper location in the room. Wiping down baseboards, doorknobs, closets & drawers, luggage racks as needed.
Specifics of bathroom cleaning are removing soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor. Disinfecting the toilet & shower, sanitizing the sink checking for any signs of mildew requiring additional cleaning.
The carpet must be maintained without spots or soil. We have products to remove soil from the carpet specific to each treatment required i.e. spot cleaing vs. soiled heavily traffic areas vs. food or drink stains.
Training in all areas provided.
Job Type: Contract
Cleaner hours: Mondays & Saturdays 1- 4 PM, Tuesday - Friday 1-4 PM, as needed. An average of 5 hours/week
Pay: while training, $10.50 /hr. when trained, $11/hr.
