Position Overview


Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (a Davey company) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. The successful candidate will provide support to all staff and departments at this location, and will act as a liaison to teams at other locations. Position is full-time and in-person.

Job Duties


What You’ll Do:

  • field current and prospective client calls
  • contract review and project setup
  • scheduling of meetings and event logistics
  • data entry into accounting and marketing software to maintain various databases including contracts, proposals, and projects
  • coordinate fleet vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and mileage tracking
  • maintain and order office and field supply inventories
  • coordinate with marketing team on office-specific marketing initiatives to support business development
  • assist with the preparation of proposals, including writing and tracking
  • prepare hard and soft copy project folders and reports
  • draft and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other documents
  • miscellaneous errands

Qualifications


What We’re Seeking:

  • Experience in office processes and office administration procedures
  • Outstanding telephone and communication skills
  • Mastery in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Expert organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Preferred qualifications include prior working experience with CRM and SAP systems
