Description
The Café Attendant is responsible for food sales at the Café counter including; taking and fulfilling orders providing professional quick and efficient service, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:
- Greets customers and takes orders.
- Maintains excellent product knowledge to answer customer queries.
- Assist customers with queries and provides solutions quickly.
- Achieves the sales goals set forth by the company.
- Processes payments.
- Follows up on orders to prevent delays and frustration.
- Updates the product inventory.
- Cleans and sanitizes the customer area during quiet times to ensure a neat appearance.
- Take dirty dishes to kitchen.
- Perform janitorial duties as needed (cleaning work stations, emptying trash, mopping up spills, and sweeping.
- Displays a positive attitude and ensures customer leaves the Café satisfied with service experience.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Obey all federal, state, and local laws.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Licensure/ Certification: none
Experience: 1-2 years previous on the job experience in food service market
