What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saturday/Sunday Caregiver for Memory Care position at The Delaney at Georgetown Village?
Are you available to work on Saturday and Sunday each week? We are currently hiring for multiple shifts on the weekends. We do not offer double shifts and we do require that you pass a drug test and background check.

Caregivers provide 1:1 assistance for all activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and eating. They also help keep residents safe by ensuring a clean and healthy environment. Caregivers are also welcomed to be a part of the fun activities provided by our life enrichment team by helping residents to stay active and engaged.
We are looking for people to join our caregiving team on TEAM BLUE. That is the name of our memory care unit here at The Delaney. We work as a team and we have a very unique approach to memory care. Check out our Facebook page if you want to see some of the fun things we do in our memory care neighborhood! We have a very active group of 32 residents who like to stay busy. We have a chicken coop with 3 super friendly hens to take care of, a famous resident dog name George (follow him on FB @ DelaneyGeorge), and a great group of hard-working teammates who are looking forward to meeting you.
Experience is not required, but preferred. We have an extensive NEW dementia training program that will give you the tools you need to better understand the resident's you serve here in the community. Training is essential, so be prepared to LEARN and GROW. Working with those who have dementia is NOT for everyone, but it can be extremely rewarding for the right person.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
