What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bowling Attendant position at The Denver Athletic Club?

The Denver Athletic Club is seeking a part-time bowling alley attendant to work in our historic, bowling alley.

"The oldest bowling alley west of the Mississippi" is looking for a good-natured, dependable, and quick-to-learn applicant who is able work nights and weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Upholding cleanliness and safety standards
  • Welcoming and engaging with all Guests and Members
  • Bartending
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Troubleshooting and handling lane malfunction calls
  • Issuing and cleaning bowling shoes; maintaining shoe organization
  • Escorting Guests and Members to their lane and assisting them with their lane set up and ball selection
  • Ensuring Guests and Members adhere to all bowling safety standards
  • Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests and Members back
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and/or lanes; completing side duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS > * Prior food and beverage or retail experience a plus, but not required

  • Member and Guest focused mindset
  • Some bartending experience
  • Some maintenance experience
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
  • Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Members and their guests
  • Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends
