Position Available: Unarmed Security Officer for Dakota High School

Schedule: Full-Time 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 10:30am to 6:30pm

Wage: $16.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor grounds and facility for suspicious activity
• Monitor all persons entering/leaving facility and verify ID
• Maintain organizations' stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Be alert and aware at all times
• Have great customer service skills
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, permitting entry, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
• Complete other job duties as assigned at specific buildings within the school district

Position Requirements:

• 6 months security experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation and a valid ID
