DISHWASHER

The Dock at Crayton Cove is looking for Dishwashers to join our team. Our ideal candidate works well with others, has good communication skills, and is self-motivated.

Qualifications, Duties & Essential Functions:

• Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, quick to learn and able to multi-task
• No experience necessary
• Full and part time positions available – we offer flexible scheduling.
• Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Overtime offered based on staffing needs.
• Minimum age is 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation, be responsible, and above all dependable
• Be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.
• Willing to learn safe food handling practices and workplace safety procedures

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc.
• Ensures the dish washing area is maintained as clean, safe, sanitary, and up to code
• Help other members of restaurant staff set up and break down before and after service
• Ensuring all trash, recycling and cardboard is properly disposed of in appropriate areas.
• Upward opportunities available to other functions in the kitchen.

Compensation:

• $15-$17 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Night shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a dishwashing role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to accurately read and follow safety guidelines
• Ability to work in hot, humid, and wet conditions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
