The Doe Run Company is currently seeking a Director of Information Technology. This senior leader position is responsible for the technological vision and strategy for the organization to achieve its business objectives. Directs the information systems department and the daily technology activities. Also directs and guides IT and operators' technology collaboration. This position will be located at our St. Louis Corporate Office.
Responsibilities:
- Create and executes a clear strategic vision that leads and drives the accomplishment of organizational objectives through the application of technology, automation, and innovation.
- Leads, directs, and develops the IT management team. Manages governance, security, compliance, IT operations, infrastructure, application, data and user support functions.
- Develops and tracks IT success metrics and the dashboard.
- Directs the planning and implementation of reliable and secure enterprise IT systems and infrastructure in support of business operations.
- Proactively seeks out new technologies and opportunities that support the business and create efficiencies.
- Directs the convergence of information and Operations Technology.
- Directs the development and administration of IT capital and expense budgets. Ensures proper IT controls are in place to meet compliance requirements.
- Collaborates with operations and leadership teams to determine projects, hardware, software and connectivity, establish work standards and propose recommended solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or business administration required. Master's degree in information technology or MBA preferred.
- 10 Years' experience in information Technology in managerial positions of increasing responsibility and/or scope.
- A proven track record of strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization, including the executive team.
- Experience in successfully creating a culture of high performance and talent retention, fostering results and accountability.
- Proven experience in managing third party service providers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of Information Technology and Operational Technology functions
- Extensive experience in portfolio management and project management
- Excellent communication and presentation capability coupled with effective influential skills
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Performance and Process Improvement, including the ITIL framework
Work Environment, Physical Requirements, and Lifting Requirements:
- Work is generally performed in a standard office setting.
- Regularly required to sit/talk/hear for extended periods of time.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and perform repetitive movement.
- Required clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
- May be required to lift up to 15 pounds.
