What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Van Driver position at The Dog Nanny?
The Dog Nanny is looking for a driver for our play-group transportation service!
Operating out of Andover for nearly 20 years, we are a dog daycare and cage-free boarding facility. The Dog Nanny’s reputation is built on trust; many of our clients have been with us for over a decade. Our team is the most important element of delivering high quality service. The right person for this job will be a patient, trustworthy, reliable individual who takes pride in delivering superior care for our clients and their dogs.
This is a long term position; our recently retired driver was with the company for over 15 years! Perfect job for someone with mother’s hours or a retired person looking for light-weight work.
The job consists of a pickup from the surrounding area to our facility, and a drop off early afternoon (approximately 7:30-10 and 12-2:30) Monday through Thursday. We’re very interested in adding a Friday route as well. The vehicle is a specially outfitted sprinter van.
Some animal handling and/or professional driving experience strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Dog lovers required!
- Care for attention to detail
- Consistent adherence to safety protocols
- Able to manage multiple dogs on leash at once
- Physically capable and able to help dogs in and out of the van
- Friendly client interaction skills
- Ability to pass a background check
Pay: $80-100/day
