For over 15 years, The Dorm has been a mission-driven, client-centered mental health organization that has been bringing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to young adults, ages 18-30.
We are looking for a passionate Part-Time Receptionist to join our multidisciplinary Washington DC team and contribute to our goal of making a difference.
The Dorm is looking for a part-time Receptionist for our Washington, DC office to work Monday through Friday 5-8pm. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, is highly organized, is a self-starter and has a can do attitude.
The position reports to the Director of Business Operations.
Job Description & Responsibilities include :
- Responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for visitors and clients
- Maintains office security and controls access to the facility managing deliveries and pick-ups
- Assists in troubleshooting on-site technology (Zoom, Meeting Owl, Smart TVs, Wifi connectivity, printers etc.)
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and management team including assisting with mail-outs, scanning correspondence, logging purchases, stocking office supplies, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills :
- Minimum of one year of experience
- Ability to work Monday through Friday 5pm-8pm for at least 1 year
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism at all times
