Project Accountant – Construction (Orlando)

Position Overview
Our Project Accountants are responsible for the processing of job costs, updating of monthly accounting reports, and accounts payable activities. They are also responsible for obtaining the proper documentation including change orders, insurances, and tax forms.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Processing of all job costs in a timely and accurate manner
- Generate and maintain monthly accounting reports
- Process owner billings
- Process payments to subcontractors and suppliers
- Obtaining waivers when applicable
- Obtaining contract documents and change orders prior when necessary
- Obtaining certificates of insurance when necessary
- Obtaining W-9 information
Qualifications
- High School Diploma Required
- Commercial Construction experience preferred
- 2 to 3 years of job cost (or cost) accounting experience required
