The DPI Group (DePaul Services/Meadowlark Employment Services) has an opening for a Job Developer in our Meridian, Idaho location. The Job Developer works as part of a team to assist the people we serve develop a higher level of independence and pursue meaningful employment in the community. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, patient, and enthusiastic, and demonstrate a passion for making a difference in our clients’ lives.
Some core responsibilities:
- Gather referrals for potential clients from state entities and community partners
- Develop employment sites
- Develop relationships with state entities and community partners
- Promote clients to potential employer sites
- Provide comprehensive client evaluations to state entities and community partners
- Provide job placement services, resume building and mock interviews
What you’ll need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills.
- Patience, compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic.
Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, in social work, or prior experience providing supported employment is preferred. Must be able to pass a state required background check, be at least 18 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license. BA/BS degree in related field desired, High School Diploma/GED required.
Pay range for this full-time position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE, and includes a benefit package including choice of two medical plans, vision, dental, paid time off, life insurance, 401(k), EAP, and more. Apply today!
