  • At The Early Learning Center we provide care to children and infants 6 weeks - 5 yrd of age. Our goal is to teach and provide for the children that enter our doors so they can thrive.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

Creating age appropriate curriculum

Assisting toddlers in reaching their milestones

Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in the classroom and on the playground while engaging children in activities and play

Be able to lift 50 lbs

Change diapers and assist with potty training

Assist the children during meal times

Sweep mop and clean table area after each meal

Keep the room clean and organized

Assist the children during nap time

Assist The children with outside clothing during the winter months

Have excellent communication skills with staff members parents and children

Must pass all background checks

Have a drivers license

CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain

Able to attend monthly staff meetings

Maintain training hours yearly

Follow all rules and regulations as stated in the Employee handbook and The Childcare Licensing handbook

At The Early Learning Center, we do prefer experience with working with children. However, we are happy to help you learn how to best care for the children that we take care of.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.15 - $14.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
