VICE PRESIDENT Adult Behavioral Health Community Based Services
The Edinburg Center is seeking an experienced independently licensed clinician (LICSW, LMHC) to oversee the clinical and administrative operations of its Adult Behavioral Health Community Based Programs including Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), DMH Respite Program (ICS), Behavioral Health Community Partners (BHCP) and Jail Diversion.
What you will do:
This position is primarily responsible for providing senior leadership and oversight of program services by ensuring adherence to agency policies and procedures and applicable state and local licensing/certification requirements and regulations; Leads a team of seasoned Directors to assure positive relationships with the Department of Mental Health (DMH); leads the team to ensure trauma informed, person-centered, family focused and recovery oriented services that promote health and wellness; ensures treatment planning and provision that incorporates evidenced based practices; leads all quality improvement and program planning activities; ensures collaboration with coordination of care entities, employment services and DMH and other community providers and agencies; ensures timely and accurate billing and reporting; participates in proposal writing; develops systems to ensure external and internal program/team communications and staff training and supervision. Reports to the agency Chief Operating Officer.
Who you are:
Master's degree in a mental health/clinical field plus independent licensure is required. Minimum of ten years in a clinical leadership position providing adult services to DMH is required. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the provision of clinical, rehabilitative, and recovery-oriented services to Persons Served with mental illness required. Training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy strategies and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies, Stages of Change, Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral, and Treatment (SBIRT), Substance Abuse Treatment, Housing First, Harm Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing strongly preferred.
