Production Manager
a) Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the press shop, steel storage, scheduling, receiving, shipping, material handling, and plant upkeep.
b) Work with the Managing Member to plan and assign work in accordance with employee abilities to produce satisfactory products.
c) Responsible for overseeing safety and cleanliness for the plant, including efficient and functional administration of the company safety programs and/or other programs approved by management.
d) Work with the Managing Member to check materials and part shortages, machine or equipment defects, investigate causes of delay, diagnose and remedy trouble issues.
e) Examine parts submitted, or random samples of parts produced for flaws or defects using precision devices for measuring (gauges, templates, calipers, micrometers, coordinate-measuring machine, etc.).
f) Responsibility and authority to stop production on parts that do not meet customer specifications.
g) Responsible for the training of employees in applicable quality standards and maintaining training records.
h) Maintain factory employee discipline, morale, and address primary grievances.
Experience Preferences: 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (metal stamping preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
