Position Title: Planning & Performance Director Job Description: Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This includes remote work and 1-2 days in office per week. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location. Responsible for all financial reporting analysis/cost and budget functions for business unit. Provides financial leadership, decision support and strategic direction to support the senior management team's achievement of the business plan. PRIMARY DUTIES: Provides decision support/analysis and financial leadership to Healthcare Network (HCN) SVP, VP and senior management team. Conducts CoC analysis and reporting to understand trends, variances, and identify opportunities for improvement and gap closure. Leads the preparation of budget and forecasts that represent the best projection of future performance. Works with management to determine assumptions and identify new initiatives for the business unit. Ensures alignment of budget/forecast to business plan. Manages Cost of Care (CoC) financial process across Network Planning and Network Operations. Provides support to (HCN) leadership on CoC reporting, CoC algorithms, Operations, Technology & Investment Council (OTIC) business cases and ServiceNow (SNOW) usage. Participates in overall Portfolio process from ideation through OTIC financial approval and Portfolio execution (22 – 24 month process end to end). Works with Business partners to comprehend Portfolio Program strategy and supports in progressing from Demand to Project. Develops, monitors, and tracks metrics supporting budget and spend. Leads, identifies, tracks and reports on areas for increased efficiency. Develops and coordinates presentations and materials for executive management meetings, internal and external speaking engagements and meetings. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience: MBA, CPA, CFM, or CMA preferred. Experience supporting senior management and prior leadership experience preferred. CoC financial modeling experience preferred. Value-based Solutions (VBS) experience preferred. SNOW CoC initiative experience preferred. Microsoft Power BI Tool knowledge preferred. SharePoint Developer knowledge preferred. East or Central time zones preferred.
