Program Dietitian Float - Provides support and coverage to sites and programs within regional area. 

The Program Dietitian Float provides nutrition therapy to clients in intensive programming by conducting nutrition assessments, developing individualized care plans, monitoring on-going medical/nutrition conditions and client progress, as well as providing nutrition education to improve client nutrition state and relationship with food. The Program Dietitian Floats work closely with the multidisciplinary team in developing case conceptualization and providing coordinated eating disorder care to clients and their families/communities of support.

Compensation Range:

Program Dietitian Float: $65,478.40 - $93,371.20

Final compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for position. Float positions receive premium pay differential added to base compensation rate. 

Schedule:

  • Part Time, 0.5 FTE (20hr/wk), schedule based on site and program coverage needs.
  • Position will support Seattle Residential and Seattle Outpatient sites in person and will support Spokane Outpatient and South Sound Outpatient sites remotely. Schedule will be variable depending on site and program being covered and can included weekend coverage.
  • Sites and programs generally operate between the hours of 8:00am to 7:00pm. 

How Program Dietitian Floats Empower Recovery:

  • Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Provides individualized nutrition therapy to all assigned patients.
  • Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
  • Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported
  • Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.
  • Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
  • Documents all nutrition care in a clear, concise, and professional manner using the EHR, in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Provides coverage to programs at different sites.

Qualifications:

  • National Registered Dietitian credential required.
  • Washington State Registered Dietitian license required
  • ServSafe Food Handler certification required
  • Washington Food Safety Handlers Permit

  • Generous PTO plans: Paid Time off (PTO) is provided to all regular full time and part time regular employees up to 152 hours/19 days within the first year of employment.
  • PTO is accrued throughout the year and can be used for vacation, personal and sick time and accrues based on compensated hours.
  • Holidays: Employees not working at a residential or inpatient facility are eligible for 7 paid holidays and 1 floating holidayNon-exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility will receive premium pay at a rate of double time if they are scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
  • Employees hired on or after February 20, 2022, will receive premium pay at a rate of time and-a-half if scheduled and work on one of ten designated holidays.
  • Exempt employees working at a residential or inpatient facility who are scheduled to work on a holiday may take the holiday on a different day during the same pay period.
  • Additionally, non-exempt employees are eligible or various shift and weekend differentials.
