The Director of Christian Formation is a paid, part time position. Adequate computer and communications skills are essential and required. He/She is hired by and works under the direct supervision of the Rector.

Job Overview/ Responsibilities include:

  • Review, refresh, & revitalize Children & Youth Formation programs.
  • Review & selection of appropriate curriculum all ages.
  • Recruitment & training of volunteer teachers.
  • Assist in plannin and/or leading other special, periodic formation programs that occur in the life of the parish.
  • Teach/leading formation classes from time to time as needed.
  • Convene & chair meetins of the CF Team.
  • Assitin with digital communications.
  • Oversee budget of all Formation ministries.
  • Assist in leadership of parish youth program (EYC - Episcopal Youth Community)
  • Asis in leadership & planning for annual Lenten Supper & program.
  • Oversight of paid nursery staff.
  • Responsible for Children's Chapel (during 10:30 service)
  • Lead, administer, recruit for summer VBS.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 18 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Denver, NC 28037
