A well-established Showroom in Stamford, CT is seeking an Administrative Assistant/ Showroom Assistant on a permanent basis.
Duties:
Handle front desk, answer phones and emails, schedule appointments, etc.
Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
Gain knowledge of all current and new product lines
Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business
Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
Maintain a neat and organized workspace
Assist with conducting inventory counts
Maintain showroom and sample department organization and presentation
Requirements:
A minimum of 2-3 years of office experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and juggle many tasks at once
Someone with an upbeat, energetic, and friendly personality who truly enjoys working with people
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
