Accounting & Finance Associate

Position Overview:

The Finance Associate will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our agency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong financial background who are eager to contribute to the success of a fast-paced and dynamic digital marketing agency. 

Key Responsibilities:

• • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and manage expenses, review invoices, and ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors and partners.
  • Client Invoicing  & Billing: Assist in client billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Contracts:Create official copies of all contracts with T&C for internal review and external approval; Track all contracts presented, including when signed and processed

• Requires careful monthly study; while contracts change monthly the goal is for finance to be the keeper of exacting knowledge and documentation 
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key financial metrics and trends.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance department to increase efficiency.
• Payroll: Twice monthly oversee and execute payroll for both entities with accuracy and high attention to detail. 
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Financial Planning: Assist in the development and maintenance of financial plans and budgets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams across the agency to provide financial insights and support their initiatives.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special finance and operations projects as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by Kelly Ehelrs and Monica Hickey 

Reporting Structure:

• Report directly to Kelly Ehlers, working very closely in a leadership team format with Monica Hickey  (Vice President), Jeffrey Lunnen (Vice President)  and the greater management team
