Job Title : CAD Operator
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed and accurate CAD drawings for furniture designs based on customer specifications and sketches.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate concepts into technical drawings that align with manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure that drawings are optimized for production efficiency and quality standards.
- Make revisions to drawings as needed to accommodate design modifications or manufacturing adjustments.
- Create 3D renderings and visualizations of furniture designs to aid in the design review processes.
- Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy access and reference.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working as a CAD Operator in the furniture manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD 3D, SolidWorks, or similar programs, with a focus on furniture design applications.
- Strong knowledge of furniture construction and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings for furniture production; can visualize finished products and projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with designers, engineers, and manufacturing teams.
- With Architectural background (degree or undergrad - with or without license)
- Certification or training in CAD drafting specifically for furniture design is a plus.
