Job Posting for Fencing Laborer at THE FENCE COMPANY
To assist journeyman successfully install all types of fencing in an accurate and timely manner. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently or with another team member. To participate as a team member to achieve optimal business functions and customer relations. To have a commitment to excellence, integrity, accountability and treat every employee and customer with courtesy and respect.
· Willing to learn the installation of Vinyl, Chain Link, wood, Aluminum, Ranch, Farm and Ornamental Iron fence installation.
· Verify that all parts, materials and tools needed for project installation are properly loaned on work vehicle.
· Assist measuring and lay out fence lines and mark postholes positions by following shop drawings, blueprints or specifications.
· Assist with align posts using lines or by sighting and verify vertical alignment of posts.
· Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
· Knowledge of operating various hand and power tools.
· Perform job site cleanup at the conclusion of an installation.
· Cleaning and maintaining tools.
· Any and all other duties as may be assigned by management.
· Assisting by keeping the trucks cleaned.
· Assisting by keeping shop clean.
·
· Knowledge of carpentry tools.
· Ability to lift and carry 60lbs or more
· Attention to detail
· Must be positive team player with a “can-do” attitude and treat other team members with respect.
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver record
· Acceptable back ground history
· Ability to work overtime when needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 17 – 20 per week
