Job Posting for Technology Teacher at The Founders Academy
The Founders Academy, a free charter public middle and high school in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a Technology teacher for the 2024-2025 academic year. The ideal candidate will be invested in The Founders Academy as a member of the staff, providing engaging opportunities for students to learn, and contributing to the culture and climate of the school community in a positive and meaningful way. This is a permanent full-time position.
Qualifications
● Support for and engagement in the school’s mission
● Investment in student success
● Bachelor’s Degree preferred
● New Hampshire state teaching certification preferred
● Previous experience preferred
● Knowledge of curriculum development preferred
Responsibilities
● Plan and implement engaging content specific lessons
● Assess student growth
● Communicate clearly and consistently with families
● Provide feedback to students
● Work with our special education team to design differentiated learning experiences
● Develop curriculum
● Work with administration to uphold and support all school policies and procedures
● Other school duties assigned to help maintain a safe and orderly school environment
Summary
Desirable qualities are teaching experience, a passion for the content, and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and passionate teacher to assist in the development and implementation of an innovative curriculum according to his or her own talents and interests. Support for, and engagement in, the school's mission and vision is essential. Salary is between $42,000-$47,000 per year with benefits available.
