Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication Schedule Audits: Conduct regular checks to ensure production schedules are being followed correctly.
- NEST Verification: Confirm that all NESTS (likely a reference to fabrication cutting software or process setups) are correct.
- BOM (Bill of Materials) Verification: Ensure that the Bill of Materials matches the NEST, ensuring the correct materials are listed for production.
- Material and OE (Operating Equipment) Checks: Verify that all required operating equipment is loaded and materials are available. If materials are missing, provide estimated time of arrival (ETA).
- Run Reports & Pallet Tracking: Create reports to monitor the progress of production, particularly tracking pallets as they come off machinery (turrets).
- Kit Preparation for Next Shift: Ensure that materials are prepared and organized for the following production shift.
- Daily Schedule Audits: Review and audit the loaded OOE (likely refers to Out-of-Equipment or Operating Equipment) schedule to ensure it aligns with production needs.
- Finished Material Audits: Conduct accuracy checks on finished products.
- Log Damaged Materials: Track and report any damaged materials on the OOE schedule.
- Machine Downtime Logging: Record any downtime of machines and equipment.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is required, though 4-5 years of experience is preferred.
- Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
- Floor and Office Work: The role involves being on the production floor around 50% of the time, with the rest of the time spent working on a computer, which requires good organizational and reporting skills.
- Reporting Structure: The candidate will report to the Master Planner functionally.
