Delivery Driver Needed!

Location: Report to Sterling, VA. Local driving DMV area. No CDL needed.

Shift: 1:00 am- 9:00 am OVERNIGHT M-F

Full-time

Pay: $20 hour

MVR needed- Must be a US citizen, have a good driving record and pass background check.

Position Summary: The French Bread Factory is currently seeking a delivery driver in the Northern Virginia area. This is an Operations position responsible for delivering our wholesale products to our customers. Driver must provide excellent customer service to our customers.

Reports:

Delivery driver reports to the Delivery Driver Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities:

· Report to work at scheduled time and complete shift until all deliveries are completed.

· Interact professionally with other team members, supervisors, suppliers and customers

· Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments

· Maintain excellent grooming and personal hygiene

· Must keep the delivery vehicles clean and in good operating conditions at all times

· Able to work an 8-12hr shift (hours per day are based on business need)

· Be organized and able to work under pressure

· Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people

· Able to handle cash charge transactions correctly and core/part returns appropriately when needed

· Invoice and/or collect payment from wholesale customer upon delivery of product.

· Great attitude with a “Whatever it Takes” mentality

· Clear speaking and attentive listening skills

· Deliver correct product, in the right amount, to all customers at the scheduled delivery times and days

· Respond promptly to all special service requests and needs

· Act courteously, kindly, friendly and safely always

· Complete DOT required documentation daily

Requirements:

· Must be 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes

- MUST be a US Citizen due to building clearance purposes.

· MVR - In last three years: no driving-related suspension, revocation or cancellation; no disqualifying offenses; no more than two moving violations; and no reckless driving incidents.

· In the last seven years, no major driving offenses - i.e. DUI/DWI, reckless driving, refusal to test, leaving the scene, or at fault fatal accident.

· Must have a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record

· Possess a passion for customer service

· English proficiency required

· Complete a company approved/provided defensive driving program.

· Constantly reaching; frequently sitting, standing, bending, squatting, walking, kneeling, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling and driving.

· Ability to work holidays, nights and weekends

· Ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs

· Consent to a criminal background check

· Must be willing to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screening on going random drug screenings

· Work in all climates throughout the year (indoor/outdoor)

· Excellent customer service skills

· Follow directions

· Ability to take initiative and work in a fast pace environment performing multiple tasks with or without direct supervision
