About You
You are a self-starter who enjoys working with a team, but also confidently works independently to accomplish a list of tasks to meet critical deadlines. Your relational nature brings an optimism when working with others in a fast-paced environment that allows for independence, freedom, and change. You understand the big picture and are resourceful in solving tough logistical problems to make sure the customer gets the best care. Because you are naturally thorough you are able to work well with and encourage the teams who are assigned to get the job done. You are a leader who is assertive and hands-on with a competitive spirit who enjoys having different challenges every day,
About the Position
You will be a part of our operations department working together to prepare and manage events. You will work with our customers to help arrange for events that include tents, inflatables, arcade games, and all the items that go along with these to make for a memorable and fun event. This includes planning and overseeing the logistics, scheduling the staff, and ensuring our equipment is ready for a successful event. You also will be hiring and training staff to work the events. For the larger events, you will be supervising them. The events most likely take place on weekends.
- Previous management experience preferred
- Previous event management experience of any scope is a plus
- Able to work weekends in the summer as needed
- Highest ethical standards and a strong desire to help others
- Exceptional at positively relating to staff, co-workers, and customers
- Proven to be trustworthy and responsible
- Can juggle multiple responsibilities at one time
- Good verbal communication skills
