The Customer Guide is responsible for creating, coordinating, and facilitating community engagement for adults with developmental disabilities. To support the individual served progress on their outcome, increase community engagement and decrease the time spent in a segregated setting. The customer guide supports communication between the community, home, and within the program.

Direct supervisor of day array service staff, coordinates daily choice schedules, ensures consistency and quality of day array services.
Monitors and coaches staff to ensure engagement leading and supporting progress on the outcomes of the individuals served.
Promote and teach best practice service delivery.
Maintain culture and provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed
Review and provide feedback of documentation for completeness and compliance and utilize for training and coaching of staff documentation capturing service delivery
Assists individuals with community resource development, social networking, and building unpaid community relationships. – Find the right fits for each individual.
Implements service plans, outcomes, action items through creating opportunities for individuals based on their outcomes and personal preferences. Activities are expected to increase employability skills, social skills, foster choice, and building relationships with other community members sharing similar interests.
Support and enhance community linkage and collaboration.
Engages with individuals in identifying interests, aspirations, and community resources that support their outcomes. The customer guide acts as a navigator of the community and within the program.
Attends and participates in team meetings of individuals served as needed.
