CERTIFIED ACTIVITY PROFESSIONAL IN LONG TERM SKILLED REHAB CARE

We are seeking a Certified Activity Professional to join our team in providing long-term skilled rehab care. As a Certified Activity Professional, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. Duties:
- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Plan and organize recreational activities, events, and outings for residents
- Conduct assessments to identify individual interests, abilities, and needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans
- Provide counseling and support to residents regarding aging issues and challenges
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards

Skills:
- Strong social skills with the ability to connect and build relationships with residents
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of aging issues counseling and techniques for supporting seniors
- Effective schedule management to coordinate activities and events
- Familiarity with nursing home regulations and requirements
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Understanding of recreational therapy principles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,600.00 - $48,000.00 per year
