We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Accounting department. The Accounts Payable Clerk provides administrative support ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by processing accurate payments, verifying and reconciling invoices according to procedures and being efficient, organized and accurate.

Job Duties:

• The Payable Invoice System - move invoices to Microsoft flow system, send out for approval to pay.
• Snail Mail Payables - invoices scanned and copied to the Flow system, sent out for approval to pay.
• Pay Commissions and print checks.
• Enter and pay local freight bills.
• Print and mail checks, update check log in SharePoint.
• Run a voided check report once a month.
• Track and Request new vendor forms and W9s if they are not in Apprise. Print and add to W9 book, along with adding in New Vendor report in SharePoint.
• Run a recurring vendor list at the end of the month
• Pay the monthly credit cards.
• Enter the DI’s and DS’s by the end of the month.
• Pay incoming invoices and utility bills.
• Receive, process, and verify supplier’s invoices.
• Reconcile accounts payable vouchers.
• Resolve purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies.
• Complete the 3-way matching for outstanding inventory payables.
• Receive and verify expense reports and requests for advances.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and some post high school accounting classes preferred
• 1-3 years' experience in Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping
• General Math skills
• Proficient in MS Office, primarily in Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
