What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seafood Lead position at The Giant Company?
Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, tracks and records loss, and does all department tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
- The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, performs markdowns and does all department tasks as needed.
- The Associate checks inventory daily, removes out of date items, puts loaded pallets into cooler, culls/stocks/restocks items, maintains displays.
- The Associate cleans and sanitizes all work surfaces, all tools and equipment, all display cases, and all floors and counters.
- The Associate tracks and records loss.
