What does the job entail

Assist Leadership team by:

  • Handling all annual renewals (business licenses, health dept requirements, etc)
  • Working closely with accountant for bookkeeping, tracking expenses, payroll, new employees and vendor/boutique paperwork
  • Getting the accountant and bankers what they need, as needed
  • Completing day-to-day requests made by the team to help assist in running everything smoothly
  • Keeping up with and managing vendor (POS systems, banking, food, internet, maintenance, municipalities) relationships
  • If there are issues, this person would call and handle
  • Keep track of invoices to be paid
  • Help set up new technology or call on IT team to assist as needed
  • Managing inventory requests
  • Help schedule and plan events for store as laid out and requested by owners
  • Work closely with boutique manager to assist with vendor needs or requests for the market, as needed
  • Work closely with Bakery Administrative Assistant to help execute needs flawlessly
  • Order supplies as needed (office, bakery, etc. as requested by teams)
  • Manage website with hired team - when things need to be updated, requests will need to be submitted to the website team for them to update
  • Manage own email
  • Assist in handling all requests, orders, etc.
  • Assist in managing any customer grievances, questions, concerns
  • Manage off-site events, setting up, and making sure that team knows what is needed
  • Organize and manage all files, marketing materials and decorations on-site and digitally (organizing, filing, protecting, etc.)
  • Help assist as needed with different tasks that are not listed
  • Assist in ordering marketing materials and possibly pick-up
  • Run errands around town, as needed
  • Exercises discretion as they will be behind the scenes of the business.

  • Training and willingness to continue learning
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work some weekends.
  • A polite, engaging personality.
  • A self-starter who completes tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience with Google Drive, Gmail, Canva, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Docusign

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
