Assistant Teacher: Early Preschool Classroom (2.5-3 years)

The Goddard School in Snohomish is seeking an energetic and compassionate Assistant Teacher to work with our youngest Preschool students! Students in this class range from 2.5-3 years of age. This classroom is staffed with a Lead and Assistant Teacher who work together along with the rest of our faculty to create a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment for our families.

The schedule for this position is 8:30am-5:30pm with an hour long lunch break.

Our school is lead by an Education Director and two On-Site Owners. As administrators we strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for our faculty every day. We believe that our teachers are the heart and soul of our program and are incredibly lucky to have such a great group of teachers in our school!

Our Assistant Teachers are responsible for:

• Supporting the implementation of educational and creative lesson planning.

• Communicating in a professional manner with families and coworkers

• Working as a team with a Lead Teacher and members of our Support Staff.

• Upholding Goddard Quality Assurance Health and Safety standards.

Assistant teachers are required to have:

• Experience working with young children
• Good References

Additional Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid Training & clear TB test
• 30 Hour STARS training
• Department of Early Learning Background Check
