The Goddard School® located in Cary Lochmere is looking for a motivated, self-starter for a Curriculum Coordinator / Education Coach position at our School. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of a developmentally appropriate learning program for young children. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to motivate and inspire others.

The curriculum coordinator's responsibilities include the following:
- Overseeing the curriculum operations of the School, specifically focusing on educational programming, relationship building, faculty training & development
- Using a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop the School for the future by implementing proprietary curriculum
- Developing strong relationships with our staff and families
- Moving from classroom to classroom and working alongside our classroom teachers, you will serve as role models for the children and staff
- Work with Center director in training teachers in effective teaching styles, transitions, and communication techniques
- Work together with our school’s leadership team in daily administrative tasks such as (but not limited to) opening and closing procedures, touring, answering phones, coverage in the classroom, and monthly purchasing and organizing of curriculum supplies
- Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Having a genuine love for children, a strong commitment to education and a true desire to spread joy and fun to staff and kids alike

Qualifications:
- Associates of Arts or Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An inspirational leader and team builder
- Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment to make sure the students have access to the best curriculum available
- Organized and able to multitask, strategically resolves challenges, and has a great attitude
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Valid NC State qualifying letter to work in childcare
- Current FirstAid/ CPR and SIDS
