What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Administrator position at The Goddard School of Parker CO?
We are looking for the right person to join our administrative team at the Goddard School in Parker. The Goddard School is franchise-owned whose owners are at the school daily. We serve children between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years of age. Our school has been serving the Parker community for over 15 years.
This person will be focused on operational, licensing and administrative tasks such as: answering the phone, light HR duties, assisting with child files, maintaining technology, ordering supplies, maintaining licensing and QA regulations, filling in for teachers in the classroom, making snacks/heating lunches, etc. This is not a desk job. This is a great opportunity to learn many different tasks and grow professionally/personally as each day is different and brings new triumphs and challenges. The admin team members are expected to fulfill many different tasks in the front office and around the school and help out in the classrooms as needed. The ability to be flexible and adaptable will make this person successful. This position is a great stepping stone for an ECE teacher that is ready to take the next step towards the administrative side of the ECE industry.

Previous experience performing back-office/administrative duties is preferred but not required.
Previous experience working in a large childcare center is preferred. The person hired into this position will be required to become lead certified within 90 days of employment - we will help you achieve this.
This is a full-time position and hours will vary. This person will work two opening shifts (6:30 am - 3:30 pm), two closing shifts (9 am - 6:15 pm) and will either work an opening or closing shift on Friday (rotates between admin staff team). You must be a team player - it's expected that you might need to work longer hours on some days due to staffing call-outs. All members of the team will share this responsibility.
Pay is dependent on experience both in a preschool setting and with former administrative duties. There is growth potential for this job to grow into and become qualified to become an Assistant Director and eventually a Director. We are a large school with many opportunities for advancement.
Upon hire, you will be required to successfully pass a background check with CBI and FBI as well as a TRAILS check. Out-of-state background checks will also be performed. You will also be required to be first aid/CPR certified and medication delegated. We will assist you meeting all of these requirements with no cost to you.
